Hydraulic Fluid Analysis for AW139 helicopters

For operators of AW139 helicopters you may be aware of the attached document outlining the AgustaWestland recommendation for hydraulic fluid analysis.   In particular paragraphs 4.7 and 9.7 which state ‘after 30 min, get a sample of fluid from the hydraulic-system test bench and send it to a qualified laboratory for the analysis. Make sure that the contamination level of the fluid is not more than Class 8 of NAS 1638’.

Spectro | Jet-Care is able to comply with the hydraulic fluid analysis requirements of this document through the supply of Particle Count by NAS 1638 method which checks the cleanliness of the hydraulic system.

Our three independent laboratories in the UK, USA and Switzerland all meet the highest ISO/IEC 17025:2005 accreditation and can provide a fast, accurate analysis service to meet these requirements.

Sample kits for this hydraulic fluid analysis program are available from Spectro | Jet-Care by completing the Request a Quote form.  If you would like to discuss this further please contact Stephanie Little on +44 (0) 1256 704000.
