Visual Appearance

This test is used to describe the visual appearance of petroleum products in terms of clarity, brightness and free water.  The appearance of a sample can be important in determining the condition of the equipment it was taken from e.g. an early warning about water contamination, or serious overheating, or presence of visible debris.
