ISO 45001 Accreditation awarded to Spectro | Jet-Care
Palace International Ltd, trading as Spectro |Jet-Care, is pleased to announce that its UK facility has been awarded ISO 45001 accreditation, the new global standard for occupational health and safety (OH&S) management systems.
ISO 45001 replaces OHSAS 18001 and having migrated to the new standard earlier this year Spectro | Jet-Care is using the framework to manage its OH&S risks. It also provides the opportunity to continually improve the OH&S performance of Spectro | Jet-Care by developing and implementing effective policies and objectives.
Key benefits from using the standard include:
- The opportunity to help prevent work-related injury and ill health to workers, ultimately improving and providing a safe and healthy workplace.
- The creation of a health and safety culture whereby employees are encouraged to take an active role in their own OH&S.
- The opportunity to align the OH&S management system with the Spectro |Jet-Care strategic direction
- By using the ISO 45001 risk-based approach the framework ensures continual improvement to meet Spectro | Jet-Care’s ever-changing context.
