Grease testing, contamination identification and trend analysis is a vital tool in condition monitoring of mission critical machinery.  Analysis can identify advanced wear, overheating, contamination, grease degradation, the wrong spec grease, too much grease, too little and should failure occur comprehensive examination of the destroyed item to help identify the root cause.
