Debris Analysis

This test covers the analysis of wear contaminants from oil wetted surfaces in any lubricated system.  It is achieved through the analysis of the residue obtained from flushing and ultrasonically washing the oil filter. Many original equipment manufacturers are able to assist in determining the source of metallic debris to allow precise identification of the source component(s).
