Jet-Care Laboratory in the USA is undergoing an extension and facelift.

Jet-Care facelift

Jet-Care, US sister company to Spectro in the UK, opened in Cedar Knolls, New Jersey in May 1996.

Initially built in 1967 for Warner Lambert Laboratories, the Jet-Care building is currently subject to a $2m+ project of internal and external refurbishment and extension.

Plans include the adding of 1/3 extra floor space for the existing laboratory as well as an additional upper level where Sales and Administration offices, a conference room, a training room and a canteen will be relocated. It is estimated that a total of around 6,000 square feet will be added.

Alongside the extension, the improvement project includes additional computer cabling and the installation of a power generator that is to be used during periods of potential power failures.

The ground-floor extension is now complete and includes separate areas for storing consumables, gaseous products, used samples and waste together with a recycling plant of solvents used during testing. We will now recover up to 90% of solvents, reducing further our waste.

The new building is soon to be opened and Jet-Care looks forward to welcoming its customers to its improved premises.
